Shenandoah Films is a resource of video content specifically examining the American Indian, Alaska Native and First Nations indigenous cultures of North America. The catalog has traditionally been geared to the educational media market, selling to libraries, schools, tribal organizations, Native American studies programs & universities. We are excited to now offer many of our titles at a consumer "Home Use" price so that more individuals may discover these intriguing narratives for themselves.
Many of our videos are produced from the indigenous perspective. We represent over 60 Native American filmmakers and distributors. Our catalog includes diverse presentations on the topics of art, music, dance, cultural biography, education, health, wellness, substance abuse, tribal sovereignty and the environment, women’s issues and historical documentaries.
